I am writing to congratulate you on having had your complaint concerning Matthew’s tragic death upheld by the PHSO, and for your excellent media interviews.
This has helped raise awareness of the fact that questions remain to be answered concerning not only Matthew’s death but those of others at the same trust.
It has also thrown a spotlight on the need to review the safety of vulnerable people in mental health care – something our other casework has made us acutely aware of.
