Despite multiple deaths across our nation of our most vulnerable under mental health services. And me continuing to offer my sons death as a catalyst for learning within my call for a Statutory Public Inquiry, the government continues to ignore me and push forward with an inquiry which has no powers and will not deliver the truth we all need to creat any meaningful change going forward.
I and multiple families have refused to engage. I wrote to the inquiry team telling them categorically that I wish to have no part of this cover up and refuse use of any documentation pertaining to my sons failed care.
The response is self-explanatory.
In life my son had no rights once under the mental health system of this nation, now in death he has no rights and neither do I as his mother.
