We hope you are well. We are writing to provide a further update on the Statutory Inquiry.
It has been brought to our attention that Essex MPs have been contacting families inviting them to attend meetings with Andrew Stephenson, Minister of State (Department of Health and Social Care).
If you have been contacted by your MP, Andrew Stephenson or Victoria Atkins (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) about a potential meeting, please in the first instance contact Grace Foley at HJA (gfoley@hja.net, 020 7874 8349).
As a legal team, we have been attempting to arrange a meeting with the Secretary of State since November, but this has not materialised to date. In light of these latest developments Melanie Leahy and Julia Hopper have sent the following open letter to her:
